Elite Plus was released for DOS in 1991. Whereas the original Elite (1987) for the PC used CGA graphics, Elite Plus was upgraded to take advantage of EGA, VGA and MCGA. It was coded entirely in assembly language by Chris Sawyer, who later wrote RollerCoaster Tycoon. Elite Plus had a ninth galaxy that can only be reached by hyperspacing into Witch Space. Subject: Open screens of game

The opening screens of the game appear to run well. The audio quality is typically rubbish of this period for PCs. This particular version of the game is not cracked and it asks for a "word" from the manual. You will need to look up "Elite Plus" on Archive.org and find the manual (this only takes around 20 seconds of your time).
